It starts here. With Bendigo Bank… and you.
About the role
We have three unique opportunities for experienced and driven professionals to join our team as Senior Managers in Technology Risk Advisory. These roles are pivotal in providing clear, accurate advice and strategic challenge to key areas, ensuring alignment with the Bank's risk appetite, policies, and industry best practices.
Reporting to the Head of Technology Risk Advisory, you will be a key stakeholder in technology-related governance, helping to counsel, advise, and monitor changes to our Technology Risk Profile.
We are hiring for three distinct focus areas:
- Senior Manager, Technology Risk Advisory (Platforms): This role focuses on providing risk advisory and oversight for all our technology platforms, including core banking, product and customer systems, and developer platforms.
- Senior Manager, Technology Risk Advisory (Data & AI): This role is dedicated to the rapidly evolving fields of Data and Artificial Intelligence, providing expert advice and challenge to the teams responsible for these critical areas.
- Senior Manager, Technology Risk Advisory (CISO & Strategy): This role partners directly with our Information Security and Technology Strategy teams to provide risk advisory on security, incident management, and our overall technology roadmap.
Each of the roles will be accountable for:
- Technology Risk Advice: Providing expert recommendations to Senior Technology Leaders on risk management practices and the practical application of our operational risk frameworks, policies, and standards.
- Risk Oversight: Partnering with senior leaders to guide the identification, assessment, and prioritisation of risks, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and monitoring emerging risks and industry trends.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Working closely with peers across Group Risk and engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
- Specialised Focus: Driving excellence in your specific area, whether it's platforms, data & AI, or information security, by providing input to policies, overseeing approaches, and implementing proactive monitoring.
