About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned and influential Senior Change & Implementation Manager to join our Business Banking & Agribusiness (B&A) Transformation team. This is a pivotal role where you will be at the forefront of driving and embedding transformational change across the division. This position is initially offered as a Max Term Contract scheduled to finish in April 2027.
As a senior change practitioner, you will be the expert who ensures that change is not just managed, but is deeply embedded, owned, and sustained. You will translate complex initiatives into clear, compelling narratives, ensuring our teams are equipped, engaged, and ready to adopt new ways of working that deliver exceptional experiences for our people and customers.
This role is critical to achieving our 2030 strategy, particularly our goals to 'Operate simply and efficiently' by streamlining processes and to 'Deepen customer relationships' by enabling our teams to focus on high-value interactions.
What You'll Do
- Lead the end-to-end change and implementation strategy for key initiatives within Business & Agribusiness.
- Conduct comprehensive change impact assessments to understand and prepare for the effects of transformation on our people, processes, and systems.
- Develop and execute robust change management plans, ensuring benefits are fully realised and disruption is minimised.
- Craft and embed clear narratives that connect technical project details to our broader business goals and the B&A story.
- Build and maintain strong relationships, coaching and influencing stakeholders at all levels, from senior leaders to project delivery teams.
- Design and oversee the delivery of engaging training programs that build capability and drive adoption.
- Define and track key success metrics to measure the effectiveness of change, continuously refining your approach to ensure lasting impact.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to change saturation and resistance, building our organisation's change fitness.
What You'll Bring
- Demonstrated experience and high performance in a similar senior change management or implementation role.
- Expertise in designing and leading strategic change initiatives, with a proven ability to drive adoption and manage resistance.
- Advanced stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to build consensus and navigate complex relationships at all levels.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling ability, skilled in crafting compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
- Deep understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and how to integrate change management for maximum impact.
- Experience in designing and delivering training programs that enable leaders and teams to sustain change.
- A data-driven mindset, with the ability to use metrics to inform decisions and demonstrate success.
- Tertiary qualifications and/or certification in Change Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
