About the Role

Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our products are delivered to market as expected, while managing the day-to-day governance of the product lifecycle. You will contribute to the development and delivery of product strategy, roadmaps, and backlogs.

Your day-to-day will be varied, working collaboratively with distribution teams, transformation partners, and stakeholders across the business to achieve portfolio growth and commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

As a core member of our product management function, your shared accountabilities will include:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and deliver clear 24+ month strategic plans and roadmaps that address customer needs, balance business objectives, and drive product simplification.
  • Product Management & Delivery: Champion the Product Lifecycle Framework, overseeing product design principles, continuous improvement initiatives, and regulatory compliance.
  • Product Performance & Pricing: Own and manage pricing structures, oversee financial performance (including profitability and forecasting), and conduct regular portfolio reviews to optimize KPIs.
  • Delivery: Ensure the successful delivery of product strategies and initiatives on time, within budget, and to agreed outcomes across all customer channels.
  • Leadership & Risk Culture: Foster a collaborative, learning-focused environment. Drive a strong, embedded risk culture that optimizes risk/reward decision-making and ensures ethical market practices.

 

 

About You

We are looking for a motivated self-starter with a curious mind and a strong desire to grow. To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Knowledge and Skills: Solid exposure to Financial Services and an understanding of banking products, services, and the relevant legal/regulatory environment. You'll have high-level numerical reasoning, analytical skills, and a knack for problem-solving.
  • Relevant Experience: Experience in product management, including contributing to the development and execution of product strategy, roadmaps, and backlogs.
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven experience working with key stakeholders across a business, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and influence strategic relationships.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and deliver business outcomes.
