As our Strategic Partner Manager you will report to the General Manager – Operational Excellence and will be essential to the success of our strategic partnership with our Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) provider.
You will be a part of the operational backbone of the partnership, responsible for ensuring everything runs smoothly, governance is disciplined, and there is clear visibility for our executive team. You will work closely with internal teams and our external partner to make sure the partnership delivers its goals for value, performance, and risk management.
You will be not only a strong leader, but also a great relationship builder with internal/external entities as this role require building strong, trusted relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
You will be a central point of coordination between:
- External BPO Partner: Liaising with their operational and leadership teams.
- Internal Executives and Senior Leaders: Preparing reports and updates for the Executive team, Board, and various Committees.
- Internal Business Units: Working with teams across the bank who rely on the services provided by our BPO partner.
- Support Functions: Collaborating closely with Risk, Finance, and Procurement teams.
About you
As our new Strategic Partner Manager you will bring the following skills:
- You have 5–10+ years of experience in roles focused on operational excellence, transformation, business management, or in a PMO.
- You have proven experience preparing reports for executives and board members and have worked extensively with outsourced partner.
- You have an exceptional ability to turn complex information into a clear and simple story for executive audiences.
- You are highly organised, with a deep understanding of how to run effective governance.
- You also possess strong commercial and financial acumen, with a sharp eye for risk and control.
- Certifications in methodologies like Lean Six Sigma would be highly valued, aligning with the required experience in operational excellence and benefits realization.
- Formal training or certification in risk management would be beneficial, supporting the "Line One" risk responsibilities and the need for a sharp eye on risk and control.
