Come and be part of a landmark transformation of our Financial Crime & Fraud Operations (FCFO). As we build a best-in-class financial crime first line accountability, this function is responsible for the operational management of BEN’s financial crime controls across AML, sanctions, fraud and scams. It will deliver investigation capability, detection systems, financial crime intelligence, regulatory reporting governance and operational support to identify, prevent and respond to financial crime risks impacting BEN.
About the opportunity
Divisional Engagement forms part of FCFO Business Services and is responsible for stakeholder engagement, enterprise alignment and governance coordination across Financial Crime & Fraud Operations (FCFO).
As part of our landmark transformation, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Divisional Engagement.
Reporting to the Head of Business Services, you will lead enterprise engagement activities across FCFO, acting as a key interface between FCFO, Financial Crime Risk and the broader organisation.
You will drive stakeholder engagement, governance coordination and business partnership activities that support the delivery of FCFO priorities, operational effectiveness and positive risk outcomes.
In particular you will get to:
- Lead stakeholder engagement and business partnership activities across FCFO, building trusted relationships that support collaboration, alignment and effective financial crime outcomes.
- Represent FCFO across enterprise forums, committees and governance meetings, ensuring key risks issues and priorities are communicated and escalated appropriately.
- Provide leadership and oversight across major incident coordination, assurance engagement activities and stakeholder communications.
- Partner with FCFO leaders, Financial Crime Risk and business stakeholders to support operational priorities, strategic initiatives and enterprise change.
- Drive continuous improvement in engagement, governance and communication practices to strengthen organisational alignment and operational effectiveness.
This is a permanent full-time position ideally located in Melbourne or Adelaide but for an outstanding candidate other locations may be considered.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Significant experience in stakeholder engagement, business management governance or financial crime operations within financial services or highly regulated environments.
- Strong understanding of financial crime operations, enterprise risk management and governance frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience building trusted relationships and influencing outcomes across senior business, risk ad operational stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication and engagement skills, with the ability to translate complex issues into clear and actionable outcomes.
- Experience leading teams responsible for stakeholder engagement, governance, assurance, communications or service delivery activities.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, with Financial Crime Industry qualifications such as ACAMS or AFCS highly regarded.
