As we build a best-in-class financial crime second line of accountability, this is a unique opportunity to help protect our bank, our customers, and our communities from financial crime. In this key role, you will contribute to strengthening our risk management framework and have a tangible impact on an evolving and vital function.
We are currently recruiting multiple driven and experienced analysts to join this enhanced function.
About the Role
The Senior Analyst Financial Crime Transformation reports to Head of Financial Crime Transformation.
- Support the design and delivery of multi-year, complex financial crime transformation programs to elevate the Bank's maturity.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Embed domestic and international requirements (e.g., 2026 AML/CTF reforms, Scams Prevention Framework) into all change initiatives.
- Support High-Impact Projects: Partner across business lines to assist with non-routine initiatives, including regulatory responses, technology upgrades (NetReveal), and remediation.
- Deliver Executive Reporting: Develop clear, high-quality progress and risk reports for senior leadership, risk committees, the Board, and regulators.
- Lead Cross-Functional Change: Partner across all three lines of defense (1L, 2L, 3L) to drive the seamless adoption of new financial crime policies and procedures.
What you’ll bring to the role
- Solid financial crime risk knowledge with proven application.
- Experience with implementation and maintenance of financial crime transformation frameworks, content and systems.
- Experience with continuous improvement across financial crime risk management, including risk management systems.
- Forward thinking with ability to ignite potential, elevate performance, and deliver a compelling vision at all levels of the organisation.
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) that demonstrate an ability to build relationships with the business.
- Able to navigate and deliver on business outcomes, while being comfortable with ambiguity.
- Capable and confident to engage, influence and collaborate with business partners to build trusted relationships, contributing to performance outcomes and value realisation
- Preferred - Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
- Preferred - Financial Crime Industry qualification preferred such as ACAMS, AFCS.
