As we build a best-in-class financial crime second line of accountability, this is a unique opportunity to help protect our bank, our customers, and our communities from financial crime.  In this key role, you will contribute to strengthening our risk management framework and have a tangible impact on an evolving and vital function.

We are currently recruiting multiple driven and experienced analysts to join this enhanced function.

About the Role

The Senior Analyst Financial Crime Assurance reports to Head of Financial Crime Assurance.

• helps provide assurance that financial crime controls and operational processes are implemented, operate effectively and comply with applicable financial crime requirements and obligations and BEN’s risk appetite.
• assisting with independent control testing and thematic reviews
• assists with the identification of financial crime issues, tracking, remediation oversight and closure validation ensuring that deficiencies identified through the assurance activity are appropriately managed, remediated and sustainably resolved.

What you’ll bring to the role

• Solid financial crime risk knowledge with proven application.
• Experience participating in assurance and assurance testing frameworks in a financial institution.
• Experience in participating in financial crime risk assurance teams.
• Experience in issue management, remediation oversight and root cause analysis. Preferred - Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
• Forward thinking with ability to ignite potential, elevate performance, and deliver a compelling vision at all levels of the organisation.
• Strong skill at communicating and influencing stakeholders and delivering change to teams and business processes.
• Able to navigate and deliver on business outcomes, while being comfortable with ambiguity.
• Preferred - Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
• Preferred - Financial Crime Industry qualification preferred such as ACAMS, AFCS.
