We are seeking a delivery focused Engineering Manager to lead and coach a high performing team dedicated to evolving our core Customer Management platforms. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between legacy and modern technology by driving the modernisation of our enterprise scale Siebel and Oracle ecosystems.

In this role you’ll get to

• Lead, mentor, and coach a talented team of engineers in a collaborative, delivery focused environment to grow their technical careers.
• Drive the modernisation of our legacy platforms, integrating them with contemporary systems using APIs and event-driven architecture.
• Manage critical production systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and stability for our digital services.
• Directly shape and evolve our customer data landscape by collaborating with architects and platform teams to reduce technical complexity.
• Champion engineering excellence by applying robust master data management (MDM), data quality, and enterprise data governance principles.
• Own technical delivery by combining your deep software engineering foundation with modern development methodologies.

What you’ll bring to the role

To be successful in the role you will have:

• Extensive, hands-on experience managing and developing on the Siebel platform (this is a non-negotiable requirement).
• Strong technical leadership or engineering management experience in a highly delivery-focused, agile environment.
• A solid software engineering foundation with hands-on, practical experience in Java development.
• Demonstrated experience with Oracle Customer Hub (OCH) or similar Oracle Master Data Management (MDM) solutions.
• Familiarity with the Oracle technology stack, including Oracle Database and its associated development and integration tools.
• Proven capability to manage system evolution, bridging the gap between legacy systems and modern, high availability microservices.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity, located at our Melbourne, Bendigo, Adelaide or Sydney Head Office locations.
