About the Team
Are you ready to champion a culture of continuous improvement? Join our Strategic Partner and Service Management division as a leader within the Continuous Improvement (CI) team. We are the single enterprise authority dedicated to governing Lean Six Sigma methodology, directing our enterprise improvement portfolio, and building a sustainable, bank-wide culture of operational excellence.

The Purpose of Your Role
As a Lead, Continuous Improvement, you will take on a senior, highly impactful role managing a strategic portfolio of improvement initiatives while leading a dedicated team of CI Specialists. We are looking for a "player-coach"—someone who can expertly govern improvement activities across the enterprise (partnering with both internal staff and external partners) while remaining hands-on in delivering strategically critical initiatives.

What You’ll Be Accountable For

  • Portfolio Management & Governance: Drive complex improvement initiatives from the initial opportunity identification through to successful benefits realization. Act as the primary governance authority, ensuring all portfolio activities adhere to enterprise standards and quality.
  • Team Leadership & Coaching: Inspire, manage, and build the capabilities of a team of CI Specialists. Provide expert coaching and mentorship to ensure the delivery of high-quality, data-driven outcomes across the board.
  • Hands-on Project Delivery: Lead by example by personally managing and delivering highly complex or strategically critical improvement initiatives.
  • Stakeholder & Value Management: Forge trusted partnerships with senior business stakeholders, project sponsors, and process owners. You will validate business cases and ensure forecasted benefits are rigorously tracked and realized.
  • Risk & Compliance: Champion safe work practices by ensuring all activities align with Bank compliance requirements, policies, and procedures.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience leading complex, end-to-end improvement projects. You must have a demonstrable track record of leading, coaching, or formally mentoring other improvement practitioners.
  • Skills: Advanced, practical knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies within a complex corporate environment. You bring strong expertise in portfolio management, project governance, and the stakeholder management skills necessary to influence senior leaders.
  • Qualifications: A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., Business, Finance, Engineering).
  • Certification: A Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from a reputable certifying body is strictly essential.
