It starts here. With Bendigo Bank… and you.

We’ve never been ‘just a bank’. Just like you should never be ‘just an employee’. We’re united in our belief that in banking, better can be bigger, and together we’re making it happen.

Build a career with purpose.

Graduating is just the beginning. Where you choose to start your career can shape where it takes you next.

Our 12-month graduate program is designed to help you build confidence, develop your skills, and make a meaningful contribution from day one. You'll gain hands-on experience working on real initiatives that help deliver better outcomes for our customers, communities, and people, while being supported by leaders who are genuinely invested in your growth.

Because we're a connected organisation, you'll have opportunities to work alongside leaders from across the business, gaining exposure to different perspectives and seeing the impact of your work firsthand.

About the Business & Agribusiness team:

As an Agribusiness Graduate, you will join a team with a profound legacy of backing Australian farmers. Sitting within our broader Business & Agribusiness division, you'll gain the best of both worlds: working alongside passionate agribusiness specialists while gaining exposure to our wider commercial banking network.

For over 160 years, Bendigo Bank has been at the heart of regional communities, and we are deeply committed to the agricultural sector that feeds our nation. As a graduate here, you won't just learn the business of banking - you'll learn how to be a trusted partner to our customers. By rotating through different teams and areas across the division, you will have plenty of opportunity to connect directly with our customers, diving deep into their world to understand their unique challenges and ambitions. You’ll see firsthand how we deliver tailored financial solutions, building the relationship skills and commercial expertise needed to step into a future career where you are front and centre, championing the success of vibrant farming businesses.

What your year will look like:

Over 12 months, you'll gain exposure to a range of experiences, helping you build a broad understanding of the business while preparing you for your future role. You will:

  • Start with security: Join us as a permanent, full-time employee from day one, giving you the confidence to focus on learning before transitioning into your guaranteed landing role in Agribusiness at the end of the program.
  • Experience a tailored rotational program: Explore different areas within the division and undertake a specialist rotation of your choice from a curated list.
  • Receive dedicated support: Start with a dedicated rotation leader and buddy in every placement to guide your day-to-day, plus ongoing mentorship and guidance from an Early Career Lead who you will report to throughout the entire program.
  • Make a real impact: Work on meaningful initiatives that create positive outcomes. We value fresh thinking and feedback, and you'll be trusted to contribute your ideas from day one to help evolve both our business and our graduate program.
  • Build your network: Grow alongside a cohort of graduates while building genuine relationships with leaders and stakeholders from across the organisation.

What you’ll bring to the role:

If you are in your final year of study or have graduated within the past three years, are eager to learn, open to new experiences, and ready to grow, we want to hear from you. To set yourself up for success in this role, you will have:

  • A degree in Agribusiness, Agriculture, Business, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
  • A willingness to learn and the motivation to take on new challenges in a constantly changing environment.
  • The ability to build genuine relationships, communicate effectively, and collaborate with others.
  • Initiative, confidence to contribute new ideas, and a passion for creating positive outcomes for customers and communities.

While not essential, you’ll stand out from the crowd if you have:

  • Previous experience in or a genuine connection to the agricultural industry.

Please note: To be eligible for our graduate program, you must be an Australian Citizen, New Zealand Citizen, or an Australian Permanent Resident.

So, why work with us?

  • Want big impact that matters? Here, you’ll know your work directly benefits the customers and communities we all serve.
  • Want to be more than just a number? Join a team that truly values you – and that becomes more diverse every day.
  • Want career opportunity AND flexibility? Achieve both here, where we know that balance and progression go hand in hand.

You’ll also get access to a great range of benefits, including:

  • Flexible work options designed to suit your life – talk to us about what flexibility means to you.
  • Health and wellbeing support, including discounted gym memberships, private health insurance options, and our Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
  • Access to our corporate university ‘BEN U’ to take your learning to the next level through opportunities like or at an external provider of your choice.

Ready to build your future? We’re making better, bigger. And we’ll get there with you. Passionate about agriculture and ready to learn? Apply now to start the career you deserve.

Applications close: Sunday, 16 August 2026
Program commences: Early February 2027

What to expect:

We want our recruitment process to be a valuable, two-way experience. It’s not just about us getting to know you - it’s a chance for you to discover if Bendigo Bank is the perfect place to launch your career. Here is what our process looks like:

  • Online assessment (video response): Within 48 hours of submitting your application, you will receive an email link to complete a short online assessment. This consists of video responses to three simple questions so we can learn a bit more about you beyond your resume. (Be sure to check your junk folder if you don't see it!).
  • Initial conversation: Shortlisted candidates will be contacted by our Early Career Lead for an initial, casual chat about your aspirations and why you’re interested in the program.
  • Final panel interview:  If your application progresses, you’ll join a panel interview with business leaders from your chosen division. While it is an interview, we want to ensure it's well worth your time. It’s a collaborative discussion and a great chance to start building your professional network, ask your own questions, and get a real feel for our program to ensure we're the right fit for each other.

For all enquiries relating to the recruitment process, please contact Kelly Boots, Early Career Lead (kelly.boots@bendigoadelaide.com.au). Please do not send your CV to this email. Applications must be completed via the apply link.

We believe a diverse workforce supported by an inclusive culture is central to our success, and we actively encourage applications from those who bring diversity of thought to our business. We support candidate requests for adjustment to accommodate an illness, injury or disability to equitably participate in the selection process.
