About the Role

Are you a driver of transformational change? Do you excel at clearing roadblocks and accelerating project delivery?

We are seeking a Continuous Improvement Delivery Enablement Lead to join our Strategic Partner and Service Management division—a strategic Centre of Excellence (CoE) dedicated to driving impactful change across Bendigo and Adelaide Bank. In this critical leadership role, you will lead the newly established Delivery Enablement team, serving as the guide for “how to get things done” for the teams.

Your overarching mission will be to make the implementation of change faster, simpler, and more consistent across the bank. Leading a dedicated team of expert Business Partners, you will act as internal consultants to our CoE teams and external partners, removing friction from the delivery process and equipping project teams to successfully navigate our complex enterprise environment.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Team Leadership & Service Management: Lead, coach, and manage a high-performing team. You will define the team's engagement model and serve as the primary escalation point for any Continuous Improvement, Architecture, or Automation project facing roadblocks.
  • Delivery Acceleration & Enablement: Act as a senior escalation point to remove systemic hurdles. You will broker connections with senior leaders to accelerate approvals and oversee the structured onboarding of external partners to our "ways of working."
  • Knowledge Management: Own and govern a central library of "how-to" playbooks for navigating key enterprise governance processes (Risk, IT, Procurement, Legal). Ensure our shared knowledge bases are continuously enriched with lessons learned.
  • Practice Promotion: Curate and showcase success stories from across the CoE, highlighting the value of the Continuous Improvement function and sharing crucial learnings across the wider bank.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of navigating complex organisational structures to deliver outcomes. You will bring:

  • Experience: 5+ years in project/program management, transformation delivery, or internal consulting, with experience leading teams of senior professionals highly desirable.
  • Expertise: Deep subject matter expertise in enterprise governance frameworks (including Risk, Compliance, Technology, and Legal engagement models).
  • Skills: Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing, and negotiation skills, with an expert understanding of project delivery in a complex corporate setting.
  • Qualifications: A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., Business, Commerce).
  • Highly Desirable: Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification and formal Project Management qualifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Agile).

Risk & Compliance

As a leader within BEN, you will ensure all work practices are conducted in accordance with Bank compliance requirements and policies, proactively identifying and reporting any instances of non-compliance.
