Are you an experienced, customer-focused product leader looking to make a meaningful impact across retail banking?

We are seeking a proactive and commercially astute Senior Product Manager to drive the end-to-end management, commercial performance, and continuous evolution of our product portfolio. In this role, you will take ownership of the multi-year product strategy, translate customer and market insights into tangible product roadmaps, and lead key change initiatives across our omni-channel distribution network.

Reporting to the Senior Manager and collaborating closely with our Head of Product leadership team, you will champion a strong product discipline, mentor developing product talent, and ensure our offerings deliver exceptional outcomes for both our customers and bankers.

What You’ll Do

  • Shape Product Strategy & Vision: Develop and execute multi-year product roadmaps (minimum 24 months) aligned with enterprise strategic pillars, balancing commercial objectives with great customer outcomes.
  • Lead End-to-End Product Lifecycle: Manage the entire product lifecycle under our Product Lifecycle Framework—from ideation, business case development, and product design through to rationalisation, pricing, and continuous improvement.
  • Commercial Performance & Pricing: Oversee portfolio financial performance, conduct profitability forecasting, manage pricing structures, and analyse key metrics to optimise margin and volume growth.
  • Customer Journey & Omni-Channel Alignment: Partner with frontline bankers, branch, digital, contact centre, and marketing teams to ensure seamless customer journeys and clear, compelling banker collateral.
  • Agile Delivery & Execution: Translate customer needs into crisp business requirements, user stories, and backlogs; work alongside delivery teams to ensure initiatives land on time, within budget, and to spec.
  • Capability & Leadership: Foster a collaborative, high-performance learning culture by mentoring junior product managers and uplifting product discipline across the team.
  • Risk & Regulatory Governance: Embed a robust risk and compliance mindset, ensuring products adhere to evolving financial services regulations, codes of practice, and internal risk frameworks.

What You’ll Bring

  • Banking & Financial Services Expertise: Deep understanding of retail banking products, pricing mechanics, distribution channels, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven Product Lifecycle Ownership: Demonstrated track record of developing product roadmaps, managing P&L/portfolio performance, and successfully executing go-to-market strategies or product change programs.
  • Commercial & Analytical Rigour: Strong financial acumen, numerical calculation skills, and ability to derive actionable insights from complex customer and portfolio data.
  • Delivery & Agile Capability: Practical experience translating business needs into feature backlogs, user stories, and managing trade-offs in cross-functional delivery environments.
  • Stakeholder & Influence Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to influence senior leadership, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and inspire frontline channels.
  • Leadership & Coaching Mindset: A proactive, self-starter approach with an enthusiasm for uplifting junior team members and championing diversity of thought.
