Partner Relationship Manager - Third Party Banking
Job ID:  2364
Business Unit:  Third Party Banking
Job Family:  Banking
Location:  Adelaide, SA, AUS, 5000
Employment Type:  Permanent
Employee Class:  Full Time

We've never been ‘just a bank'. Just like you should never be ‘just an employee'. We're united in our belief that in banking, better can be bigger, and together we're making it happen.

It starts here. With Bendigo Bank… and you.

With more than 70% of Australians securing their home loan through mortgage brokers, third-party distribution is one of the most dynamic, high-impact growth engines in modern banking. At Bendigo Bank, our Third-Party Banking division delivers a third of the Group’s revenue—and we are committed to leading the market in customer and partner experience.

As our Partner Relationship Manager, you will take ownership of the end-to-end relationship, growth, and commercial strategy across three key White Label partnerships. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you will bridge strategic account management with commercial execution—translating partner performance data into targeted growth strategies, leading high-stakes negotiations, and ensuring our White Label partners receive market-leading service and support.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive White Label portfolio growth: Formulate and execute tailored sales strategies across three dedicated White Label partnerships, managing portfolio KPIs and pipelines to deliver sustainable growth and profitability.
  • Cultivate high-impact strategic relationships: Partner directly with Senior Leaders, Sales Management, Operations, and Compliance teams across your White Label partners to align long-term goals and adapt to changing market dynamics.
  • Manage risk and regulatory compliance: Proactively identify, assess, and manage operational, credit, and conduct risks across your partner portfolio, ensuring all White Label activities adhere strictly to internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Translate data into commercial insights: Deliver meaningful analytics and reporting to White Label partners and internal executive stakeholders, identifying volume trends, growth opportunities, and process enhancements.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration: Partner internally with Credit Assessment, Mortgage Operations, Marketing, and Contact Centre teams, while providing daily operational direction and coaching to Partner Relationship Associates.
  • Champion continuous improvement: Oversee strategic, project-based initiatives to continuously challenge the status quo and refine our White Label and broker value propositions.

To succeed in the role, we’d love you to have

  • Proven experience within third-party banking, White Label lending, mortgage aggregators, or broker networks, underpinned by a solid grasp of residential credit policy.
  • A background in business development, strategic partner management, or sales within financial services.
  • Outstanding stakeholder engagement and presentation skills, with the ability to navigate complex commercial discussions, deliver difficult messages, and build long-term trust with senior executives.
  • Demonstrated capability to interpret partner performance data, extract actionable insights, and use for commercial opportunities.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience), alongside a Diploma or Certificate IV in Mortgage Broking.
