An exceptional opportunity has emerged for a transformative leader to guide our statutory reporting and accounting policy function. This is more than a standard leadership role; it is a chance to steer a critical finance function through significant transformation and shape its future. You will step in at a critical time, leveraging your expertise to guide the team through a demanding reporting cycle while mentoring a dedicated team to elevate their experience and capabilities.
If you are a resilient and strategic leader who thrives on complexity and is driven to create a lasting impact, we want to hear from you. A unique opportunity to lead and transform.

- Leading through a pivotal period: Taking immediate ownership of all statutory reporting obligations for the Group and guiding the team's performance through a demanding financial reporting cycle.
- Driving transformative change: Spearheading the function's evolution by leading complex technical accounting matters and driving the proactive implementation of new accounting standards across the Group.
- Mentoring an experienced team: Leading, mentoring, and uplifting the capabilities of a long-tenured and dedicated team, guiding their development and fostering a culture of high performance.
- Bringing a fresh perspective: Taking the helm from a long-term incumbent, you will challenge the status quo and introduce fresh thinking to established processes, guiding the team into its next chapter of excellence.
- Championing compliance and integrity: Ensuring strict adherence to ASX Listing Rules, continuous disclosure requirements, and ASIC regulations pertaining to financial reporting.
- Managing key stakeholder relationships: Leading the strategic relationship with the Group's external auditors and providing expert counsel to senior executives and the Board Audit Committee.
This is a permanent full-time position. We offer flexible work options that put our people first, and a hybrid model of minimum two days per week.
What you’ll bring to the role

- Proven experience managing, mentoring, and developing a team of technical specialists.
- Demonstrated ability to engage with and influence senior executive stakeholders, board committees, and external auditors.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate complex accounting issues into clear business implications.
- Professional accounting qualifications (CA/CPA) with a minimum of 7 years of post-qualification experience in financial management.
