We have a great opportunity for a Financial Resilience Risk Analyst to join our Enterprise Risk team. Reporting to the Specialist, Financial Resilience, you will play a vital role in safeguarding Bendigo Bank’s structural and operational integrity during times of extreme stress.
This is a fantastic developmental opportunity where you will get to:
- Support the end-to-end delivery of the Bank's Recovery and Resolution Plans in line with APRA prudential standards (CPS 190 and CPS 900).
- Support the Group’s prepositioning plan reducing potential barriers to orderly resolution across the Bank.
- Engage with senior leaders and support operational tests with the Executive team.
- Contribute to the development and oversight of frameworks for second-line strategic and sustainability risk.
- Manage the Emerging Risk process including research, facilitating presentations and focus group sessions to senior leaders and producing reporting.
This is a permanent position to be based in our Adelaide or Melbourne office. We offer a flexible, hybrid work arrangement with an expectation of working from the office 2 days per week.
What you’ll bring to the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and curious candidate with a strong desire to learn and develop their career in risk management. You are a team player who can work independently and has a proactive, collaborative mindset.
In addition, you will have:
- Completed or are near completion of a bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Law, Business, Accounting or a related discipline.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- An ability to prioritise and execute tasks effectively.
- (Preferred) Basic understanding of risk management and the financial services sector.
- (Preferred) Experience with PowerBI and an interest in AI capabilities.
